# AdBlue in the diesel tank: what now?

AdBlue has its own separate filler, but it's easy to confuse under pressure. If it's gone in the fuel tank, don't run the engine.

## Why it matters
AdBlue is a urea solution — it's corrosive to the fuel system and must never pass through the engine. Running it risks damage to the pump, injectors and lines.

## The fix
The tank and fuel system are drained and flushed on-site, clean diesel is added, and the car is test-started. Quick if caught early — don't turn the key.
